Whether you’re brand new to upper cervical care, trained in another technique, or already certified in Advanced Orthogonal, we’ve created clear, professional pathways for integration into our team.

1. Doctors New to Upper Cervical Care

If you’re new to upper cervical chiropractic, we provide full, structured training in the Advanced Orthogonal technique. This isn’t an internship—but a serious, hands-on mentorship process led by diplomate-level doctors. You’ll be brought up to speed with both the philosophy and the technical precision required to succeed in this environment. We don’t expect perfection, but we do expect a mindset of excellence, humility, and a desire to grow.

2. Doctors Trained in Other Upper Cervical Techniques

If you’re already trained in another upper cervical technique—such as NUCCA, Orthospinology, Blair, or similar—we’ll build a custom onboarding plan for you. That process usually involves fast-tracked training that bridges your current skill set with the distinctions of the Advanced Orthogonal system. Our goal is to take the strengths you already have and help you refine them within the model we use to care for some of the most complex neurological cases in the region.

3. Doctors Already Trained in Advanced Orthogonal

If you’re already trained and proficient in Advanced Orthogonal, then we’re ready to move directly into conversations about team fit, collaboration, and shared mission. You’ve already put in the work to master a complex procedure, and we want to understand how your skill set and professional goals align with the growth of the clinic. We’re led by Dr. Chris Slininger, a diplomate in chiropractic cranio-cervical junction procedures, and a long-time educator, mentor, and leader in the upper cervical profession. From his early training roles in the military, to teaching and mentoring at the Pierce Clinic of Chiropractic, to becoming the Executive Director of the Advanced Orthogonal Institute, Dr. Slininger has dedicated his career to helping doctors grow into confident, capable, high-performing professionals with influence that extends far beyond their adjusting tables.

But Cerebral Chiropractic Center is more than a clinic and a training site. We’re also the headquarters of Strategic Solutions, a media and marketing company that supports upper cervical doctors across the country—giving our team a distinct advantage when it comes to public visibility, reputation-building, and patient communication. And we’re home to Synapse Continuing Education, a multidisciplinary platform that brings together thought leaders from neurology, chiropractic, functional medicine, rehabilitative therapy, and more—creating new opportunities for referral networks, professional collaboration, and broader influence within the healthcare landscape.

Clinically, we’re gaining national recognition in the areas of mild traumatic brain injury, veteran care, and complex neurological dysfunctions—fields where precision in the cranio-cervical junction makes a measurable difference.
